Ubuntu 9.10 is available for desktops, servers, and netbooks, and it comes in two versions PC Intel x86 and 64-bit PC AMD64. I’m not too familiar with Linux, especially Karmic Koala and that’s why I don’t understand why there isn’t a 64-bit version for Intel machines. Well, Ubuntu 9.10 features an improved boot sequence, enhanced audio framework, new Software Center, and lots of other user-centric additions.
